Château des Platanes was bought by our family in 2018. With this huge step our dad fulfilled his lifelong dream of creating his own wine, being involved in every step of the production and creating a second family home. Having grown up in a rural area in Germany, our father has always wanted us children to experience this way of life and earn an appreciation for nature and agriculture.

Together with a team of professional local experts we have slowly realised the process of modernising the château. The careful restoration of the old building has begun, bringing new life to its historic charm.

Our old vines, with their deep roots and rich heritage, produce intensely flavoured grapes that give our wines their distinctive aroma and complexity. Gradually, we also planted young vines to complement and enrich the old stocks. With time, our journey expanded beyond the original estate. We acquired two additional vineyards, one in Côtes de Provence and another in Côteaux Varois en Provence. Each of these places, with its own character and local grape varieties, contributes to the diversity and individuality of our wines. Together, they allow us to craft different cuvées that reflect both the rhythm of nature and the essence of each harvest.

At this point, we take great pride in having crafted our own wines for over five years, combining tradition, passion and dedication.
